Hebrews 11:10 "Abraham looked for a city that had foundations, whose
builder and maker is God." Our finding a city whose builder is God
is a spiritual experience. It is I founded upon Jesus Christ's indwelling
presence and our manifestation as sons of God. It relates to the establishment
of the kingdom of God on earth. Abraham believed that he could see such
a city on earth. We believe that we can see such a city because we see the
relationship between our life and God's will. We understand that the Kingdom
is established in His people. "By faith Abraham sojourned in the land
of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac
and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise." We are in a ministry
where we are linked with others with whom we share the vision of the promise.
Galatians 3:29 "Because we are Christ's, we are Abraham's seed, and
heirs according to the promise."
We are able along with Abraham to
see God's intention to form a people who would inherit and possess the earth.
The meek shall inherit the earth. We have become meek because we have humbled
ourselves in the light of God's awesome purpose to manifest His life in
a living people.
Hebrews 11:13,14 "Abraham was persuaded of the promises of God, and
embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the
earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a
country."
What Abraham was searching for exists - but it only exists in Christ. I'm
not a stranger or a pilgrim on earth because I dwell in Christ. The power
of His life within me has enabled me to be a partaker of His divine nature.
I expect to see it fully manifested heart, soul, mind, body and strength.
The Lord is appearing and His reward is with Him
Geness 15:1 'The word of the LORD came unto Abram (the father of our faith)
in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram I am thy shield, and thy exceeding
great reward."
His exceeding great reward is working in the midst of
us now. His reward is experienced as the power of transformation. It is
experienced as faith expressed - as Christ revealed. We desire to see the
kingdom of God established on Earth. The creation awaits the manifestation
of the Sons of God and we feel both the call and the anointing to respond.
We see the need - we have the vision - we have set our hand to the plow.
We believe in divine appointment and in transformation.
Hebrews 11:16 "For we desire a better country, that is, an heavenly:
wherefore God is not ashamed to be called our God: for He has prepared for
us a city."
God will not be ashamed because we will properly represent
His character and nature. We are dwelling in Jesus Christ. Our dwelling
has descended out of Heaven from God. We walk in this world with a confidence
that we have become joint-heirs with Christ and enjoy the promises given
to Abraham and sealed for us in Jesus Christ. We are committed to this world
and its manifest salvation. It is evident that this is the proper response.
Romans 8:21 -22 We believe that) "The creation itself shall also be
delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the
children of God. For we know that the whole creation groans and travails
in pain together until now."
We are part of the process of change.
"For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not
to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness
of faith.
" Romans 4:13,16 'Therefore it is of faith, that it might
be by grace; for this purpose that the promise might be sure to all the
seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of
the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all."
We believe that we will put on incorruption. As ve have borne the image
of the earthy, we shall also bar the image of the heavenly.
(1 Corinthians 15:49) We are committed to seang the kingdom of God established
on earth - because we have been planted in Christ - in the earth for this
puoose. We are living in the day that we believe God is setting up His kingdom
to be seen on earth. The kingdom that Bod has promised is an eternal kingdom,
with Christ as Kng.
God has dealt to each of us the measure of fath so that we might participate
in manifesting the world t> come. The world was created for the purpose
of Jesis Christ, to create a habitation where God's desire for £ dwelling
in the world will be realized. There is not any cuestion that this purpose
and this desire will be consummated.
God has engaged us in the fulfillment of this purpose, enabling us to become
partners in creation ard co-laborers with Christ.
Romans 8:18-19 "Therefore
we reckon that the challenges of this present :ime are not worthy to be
compared with the glory thatshall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation
of the creature awaits the manifestation of the sons of God."
