Jesus Christ is appearing and shall yet appear to be glorified in his
saints, and to be admired in all them that believe. 2Thessalonian
1:10
The Holy Spirit that dwells in us is preparing the dwelling that He has
ordained. It is the body of Christ. We are members of His body and we
are engaged in the process of preparation. For the whole body is
fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplies,
according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, which
produces increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Ephesians 4:16 God desires to be glorified in His saints... in a
Body
that is thoroughly joined and knit together, a Body that has come
"unto
the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ". For us it
is a hope and an aspiration; for God it is His Will to reveal the
substance
of His identity. God is revealing within us His word and ministry to
form
and prepare the kind of people that He wants. We are such a people,
servants
of God who have heard what the Spirit is saying, and are declaring a
living
Word in the Earth. By grace and the determined will of God we have
become,
among others, a dwelling and a voice for the Lord.
We, who are fortunate, are experiencing the determination and
insistence
of Gods purpose as eternal life within us encouraging and
prompting
us to set aside imaginations and lay hold of eternal life in order to
show forth its nature and substance. God continues to prepare us so
that
we might share that intimate relationship with Him that His heart has
determined. A body that is worthy of Christ, a dwelling that expresses
His fullness. Christ is the head over all things to the church, which
is his body, the fullness of him that fills all in all.Ephesians
1:22-23
Through the faith that He has formed in us we are being made ready. It
is not something that we have imagined out of our own hearts. It is
that
which has originated in the heart of God. It is His intention and His
desire to bring it into being, and therefore He has declared it. We
know,
that what God has declared will come to pass, and He is preparing a
transformed
people. So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it
shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I
please,
and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah
55:11
The world is awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God because it
is here, in life, that the victory must be won and demonstrated. It is
here that His purpose will be worked out in the lives of His people. We
must, in reality and experience, walk out the revelations and truths
that
have been revealed in us by His Word. "If we live in the Spirit,
let us also walk in the Spirit" Galatians 5:25. It is
necessary
first to see and understand what God is doing. But, we must also walk
in what we have seen. Revelation must become reality. Our spiritual
eyes
can see the promises, but our feet have to walk them out. His purpose
is a lamp unto our feet and we have been endowed with His Spirit that
we may provide light for others. Such is the nature of our ministry.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.
Romans 10:17
A primary outcome of study, prayer, worship and hearing the word
preached
is the deepening our faith according to the truth. His divine
power
has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness,
through
the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue: Whereby
are
given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these we
might be partakers of the divine nature. 2 Peter 1:3-4
Our preaching focuses on the charac¬ter of God, emphasizing the
reality
that is. God is faithful. He is love. He is immutable. God never
changes.
All our faith is established who God is in His person. We know who God
is, and we are yet learning.
Because we see who God is we are assured that God is able to fulfill
the promises that He has given to us. He is able to do all that is
needed.
We understand Gods intentions toward us; that He intends to
bless us. God has commended His love toward us, in that, while we
were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now
justified
by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if, when we
were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much
more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. Through
Jeremiah
29:11 God had already declared, For I know the thoughts that
I think
toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give
you hope and a beneficial outcome.
The Bible displays the mighty deeds of God on behalf of His people. So
it is that we continue to recount the wonderful works of God and the
finished
work in Jesus Christ. We conclude with the opening verses of
Psalm 105:1-5:
Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds
among the peoples! Sing to Him, sing psalms to Him; Talk of all His
wondrous
works! Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek
the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore!
Remember
His marvelous works that He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of
His mouth. People need to hear a voice. Our words need to be
powerful
enough to transform the hearer so that they respond with "yes",
thats
what I want. Speak with vision and declare a prophetic message. God
alone
exists. He is able to do what He has promised. He promised because it
is His will and intent that He have a people; a dwelling place for
Him on earth. He has shown the works of His mighty arm. He has obtained
for us salvation by Himself. With joy you shall draw water out of
the wells of salvation. Isaiah 12:3
