About Michael Brod: Pastor Michael Brod was born and raised in New York City. He was ordained to the ministry in 1980. Michael served as an assistant to the Pastor in one of the great churches on Long Island, New York. He inaugurated a unique ministry within the New York City Shelter System continuing until 1991, when he relocated to the Northwest and became a part of Light of the City Ministries. The following year he became a chaplain at the Union Gospel Mission of Seattle, Washington.
