Hebrews 4:14-16:
" Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that
is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling
of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without
sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
As believers we live, in relation to God, a life of continual discovery.
Though we know God and experience the Lord we are frequently quickened by
the Spirit and refreshed by His presence so that that which we know, and
that which is new, is brought into the realm of present day experience.
By Christ's presence, we enjoy the priestly blessing that the Lord declared
to Moses for Aaron for the sake of the people of God.
'The LORD bless you,
and keep you: The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto
you: The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
Numbers
6:24-26
God has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our
Works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given us in
Christ Jesus.
This knowledge causes us to be persuaded and enables us to declare with
certainty
" I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate; us from
the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord ". Romans
8:38-39
Persuasion is the outcome of vision when vision has generated faith.
Believing is faith given expression. Faith given expression is righteousness.
So it is written, " Abraham staggered not at the promise of God through
unbelief but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully
persuaded that, what God had promised, He was able also to perform. And
therefore, it was imputed to him for righteousness. Romans 4:20-22
God is able to save completely. " Jesus is able also to save forever
those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession
for them. " Hebrews 7:25
Walk out our salvation by means of our
conversation with the Father through the Son. We understand the bond that
has been established with God through our sonship.
The continuing access that we have into the presence of God enables us to
understand and experience salvation as a work of communion and identity.
We live in Christ who dwells in God. Eternal life renews the state of our
mind and causes our souls to be transformed by the presence of the Lord
as He speaks within us of His finished work. We are able to hear.
God bestows grace plentifully. " And God is able to make all grace abound
toward you, that you, always having sufficiency in all things, may have
an abundance for every good work. 2 Corinthians 9:8
We know that God desires a dwelling place on earth and a people on earth
who shall manifest His life. We may come unto the throne of grace, to obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need because it pleases God.
God is able to help you when you are tempted to doubt that which the Lord has shown you. " For since He Himself was tempted in that which He has
suffered, He is able to
come to the help of those who are tempted. " Hebrews 2:18
We are able to draw upon Jesus' own vision of His finished work because
He; having seen the beginning and the end was able to endure such contradiction
of sinners against himself. He, for the joy that was set before him endured
the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the
throne of God. His deeds will empower you not be wearied or faint in your
minds.
God is able to subdue all opposition. God is able to do beyond what we can
ask or think. " Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work
within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even
dream of infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or
hopes. "
Ephesians 3:20
But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. Likewise the Spirit also helps
our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but
the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot
be uttered. And He that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the
Spirit, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will
of God. "Romans 8:26-27
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose. We see our fellowship,
our prayers, our studies, our hopes, our aspirations, our questions and
the answers working to effect the transformation that we have been called
to manifest.
We may declare: 'That which we have seen and heard declare we unto those
that can hear, that they also may have fellowship with us: and truly our
fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."
