Hebrews 11:10 “Abraham looked for a city that had foundations, whose builder and
maker is God.” Our finding a city built by God is a spiritual experience. It is
founded upon Jesus Christ’s indwelling presence and our manifestation as sons of
God. It is the foundation for the establishment of the kingdom of God on earth.
We believe that we inhabit such a city because we see the relationship between
our life and God’s will as we experience His desire working within us. We
understand that the Kingdom is established in His people. “By faith Abraham sojourned
in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with
Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise.” We are in a ministry
where we are linked with others with whom we share the vision of the promise.
We dwell in earthly tabernacles - Christ dwells with us, and is present to our
experience.
Galatians 3:29 “Because we are Christ's, we are Abraham's seed, and heirs according
to the promise.” We are able, along with Abraham, to see God’s intention to form
a people who will inherit and possess the earth. The meek shall inherit the ear
th. We have become meek because we have humbled ourselves in the light of God’s
awesome purpose to manifest His life in a living people.
Hebrews 11:13,14 “Abraham was persuaded of the promises of God, and embraced them,
and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that
say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.” What Abraham was
searching for exists - but it only exists in Christ. We are not strangers or
pilgrims on earth because we dwell in Christ. The power of His life within us has
enables us to be partakers of His divine nature. We expect to see it fully
manifested in our heart, soul, mind, body and strength. The Lord is appearing
and His reward is with Him.
“The word of the LORD came unto Abram (the father of our faith) in a vision, saying,
Fear not, Abram: I am your shield, and your exceeding great reward.” Genesis 15:1
His exceeding great reward is working in the midst of us now. His reward is
experienced as the power of transformation. It is experienced as faith expressed –
as Christ revealed. We desire to see the kingdom of God established fully on Earth.
The creation awaits the manifestation of the Sons of God and we feel both the call
and the anointing to respond. We see the need – we have the vision – we have set our
hand to the plow. We believe in divine appointment and in transformation.
“For we desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not
ashamed to be called our God: for He has prepared for us a city.” Hebrews 11:16
God will not be ashamed because we will properly represent His character and nature.
We are dwelling in Jesus Christ. Our dwelling has descended out of Heaven from God.
We walk in this world with a confidence that we have become joint-heirs with Christ
and enjoy the promises given to Abraham and sealed for us in Jesus Christ. We are
committed to this world and its manifest salvation. It is evident that this is the
proper response.
Romans 8:21-22 We believe that: ”The creation itself shall also be delivered from the
bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know
that the whole creation groans and travails in pain together until now.” We are part
of the process of change. “For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world,
was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of
faith.” “Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; for this purpose that the
promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that
also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all.” Romans 4:13,16
We believe that we will put on incorruption. As we have borne the image of the earthy,
we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.
1 Corinthians 15:49 We are committed to seeing the kingdom of God established on earth.
We have been planted in Christ for this purpose. We believe we are living in the day that
God’s kingdom will be seen on earth in Christ’s glory. The kingdom that God has promised
is an eternal kingdom, with Christ as King. God has endowed us with faith so that we might
participate in manifesting the world to come. The world was created for the purpose of Jesus
Christ, to create a habitation where God’s desire for a dwelling in the world can be realized.
God has engaged us in the fulfillment of this purpose, enabling us to become partners in
creation and co-laborers with Christ. “Therefore we reckon that the challenges of this present
time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in us. For the earnest
expectation of the creature awaits the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:18-19
The creation is awaiting the manifestation of the sons of God because it is here, in life,
that the victory can be won and demonstrated. It is here that His purpose will be worked out
in the lives of His people. We can, in reality and experience, walk out the revelations and
truths that have been revealed in us by His Word and Spirit. "If we live in the Spirit, we can
also walk in the Spirit" Galatians 5:25. It is necessary first to see and understand what God
is doing. We can also walk in what we have seen. Revelation can become manifest reality. Our
spiritual eyes can see the promises, and our feet can walk them out. His purpose
is a lamp unto our feet and we have been endowed with His Spirit that we may
provide light for others. Such is the nature of our ministry - such is the nature
of our walk.
