2 Corinthians 4:18: " We look not at the things I that are seen, but
at the things which are not seen: for the things that are seen are temporal;
but the things that are not seen are eternal." Paul is not saying that
everything that is not clearly seen or understood is eternal but that in
this world there is tribulation, and the tribulation and opposition that
is seen is being overcome by that which is eternal. The life that endures,
the victory over this world is established in Christ, but we must see it
and experience it to attain it.
To attain it we must manifest it. We are called upon to manifest His eternal
existence. Manifestation is making that which is eternal, but is unseen,
visible, and actual in the midst of our lives. The key is within us. Due
to the fact that there are things that the Lord has enabled us to see, as
we should, we know that we can see and understand more. Because the Spirit
has assured us that our seeing is correct, we have the confidence to search
out and declare the hidden things in Christ. Fortunately it is God's intention
that the hidden things come to light and dwell with and within His people.
"And Jesus said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel,
or under a bed; and not be set on a candlestick? For there is nothing hid,
which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that
it should come abroad." (Mark 4:21-22) God has hidden His glory for
us, that He might impart it to us.
The Spirit will show you all things. "When He, the Spirit of truth,
is come, he will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself;
but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will show you
things to come.
He shall glorify me: for He shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto
you. All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that He
shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you." (John 16:13-15)
Jesus Christ will reveal to you everything that is necessary to understanding
human nature and existence. He will enable you to understand the working
of the Spirit in a far greater way than ever before. We will be able to
understand the working of the heart, the mind and soul in order to see and
participate in the process of deliverance and transformation. Our transformation
is gaining momentum because we can see and image that which God has promised
and plans to perform.
You will understand your resurrection in Christ, new life in place of the
old. We are experiencing the transformation that enables us to put on incorruption
and immortality. It is about union with Christ and the renewal of our lives.
We are moving forward. We are running our race. We are seeking the prize
of His high calling in Christ.
Our revelations, insights, and discoveries have been given value as they
played out in our souls, as they played out in life.
The transformation
that God is effecting is seen in the expression that we give it. We are
healed as we go. That which is witnessed in heaven (revelation by the word
and Spirit) can be revealed on earth. The prayer that Jesus taught in Matthew
6:10, "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven"
is given manifest reality through us.
We are pressing, vigorously and energetically for the prize of His high
calling.
Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. We are each building
an inner reality based on the qualities and attributes of God. We are writing
in our souls the truth of Jesus Christ. We are seated with Him in heavenly
places. Our experience enables us to form an image within ourselves that
corresponds to Him.
Romans 12:2: It is said: ... be not conformed to this world: but be transformed
by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and
acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
Prove means to test and confirm. The proof is established in your soul as
you perform it. God has always desired a people that will give expression
to His image and His likeness. We can use our heart and will to give Jesus
Christ expression because He is becoming ourselves as we take on His nature.
"We all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord,
are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit
of the Lord." (2 Corinthians 3:18)
We have mixed faith with the word preached. Faith is the means by which
we train our heart in the things of God. Faith that produces action is the
result of Christ's indwelling. Christ appears as our faith and in our faith.
Thereby, our faith forms for us both the image and reality of His character.
Those images are available to us when we are challenged by the world.
I John 5:20: "We know that the Son of God is come, and has given
us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in
Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God,
and eternal life."
We are assured that we can know what we need to
know. The soul is capable of giving expression to His image and likeness.
What you see, you learn. What you learn you can do, and what you do, you
become.
