THE LILLIES OF THE FIELD 1 : BY LILLIAN ROGERS

AS ANGELS: Luke 20:34,35.36 The children of this world marry,and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: "Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels;and are the children of God,being the children of the resurrection." When I read this I was seeing those triads again. Here we see that we work out our salvation on three levels. First as sons of men, second as sons of God, third as the angels. Doesn't it say in Phil. 2:12,13 "Word out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure." We start as children of this world, we were born once so we can be born again, according to Col.1:13, "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness,and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son." We have been translated into the realm of son of God, where we learn to " seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness, and all these things we have need of shall be added unto us according to Matt. 6:33." So now we are in the overlapping of sons of God and of angels:where we are experiencing the resurrection, where we overcome death,and live as the angels who neither marry or are given in marriage. So you see it is a processing. First the natural. Then the spiritual. Are we spiritual yet? No, I don't think so. We are in the overlapping. We m ay do spiritual things, but we also do natural things. In that realm we will be as the angels. We won't have to depend on man for anything. The Lord is our source of life. This is His Purpose and Plan. People without vision perish according to Pro. 29:18; but the inference there is---that people with vision do not perish. Thank the Lord, we have a vision.

THE BIRTHING: Deut. 16: 16,17 Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles:and they shall not appear before the Lord empty: Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee. I am seeing these three appearings of the Sons of God before the Lord as the three heavens. And they shall not appear before the Lord empty. The first appearing you bring the blood of Jesus; you get born again. The second appearing you bring the Holy Spirit;you get the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The third appearing you bring your body. Doesn't it say in Rom. 12:1, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies, a living sacrifice,holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service? Meaning thats our responsibility,and He will do the rest. Aren't we waiting the redemption of our body? according to Rom. 8:23 And not only thy, but ourselves also, which have the first-fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves,waiting for the adoption, to wit; the redemption of our body. So you see this is not history,it is present truth, and we are well able to go up and possess the land. It is written! He has ordained it! And it will come to pass!

ADAM: Lets talk about Adam. Some people think he was such a glorious creature, and maybe he was; but he didn't have the Ming of Christ. How do I know that? Because he did not obey our Father. The Mind of Christ always obeys the Father. He said, I came to do thy will, O Father. He said, I do only what I see my Father do. So I do not want to be like Adam: I want to be like Jesus, who was everything the Father wanted. Jesus is our example to follow. Jesus is our pattern. And we must think of Him As He Is Now; not how He was 2,000 years ago. He said, The things concerning me (in the flesh) must come to an end. We are to know no man after the flesh, but after the spirit. Know the Spirit. These are the greater works. The work of the Holy Spirit establishing the New Covenant in our hearts and in our minds. It couldn't happen before He went away, because the Holy Spirit had not yet been given. As glorious as man may have been in the garden and the law and the prophets; this that we have today is more glorious. Since Jesus came all has been changed. The better world is here. It is in Christ. The new heaven and the new earth is in Christ. The old passed away with the Old Covenant. The Old Covenant was heaven and earth to them; but now we have a New Covenant. The New Covenant is our new heaven and our new earth. It is in Christ the many membered body. Israel was Gods heaven here on earth, until Christ came. Christ is our heaven. He takes away the old, to establish the new. His Kingdom is not of this world. Amen

HE CHOOSE US: He choose us to manifest Himself in us, through us, as us. Not for any good that we had done, but because of His love, His mercy, and His grace. He choose to reveal Himself in us. We did not chose Him. That is why we sing the song, I love Him because He first loved me. We were blind to His love and going in our own way until He called us and set our feet upon solid ground. You can't come unless you are called. But if we lift Him up He will draw all men unto Himself. So our job is to lift Him up. How do we lift Him up? By telling others of His wonderous love. By living our lives totally dedicated to Him. By living in righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. By walking in the Spirit and not fullfilling the lusts of the flesh. How to we lift Him up? By our conversation. By our thoughts. What do we think on all day long? We can do these things because He has all ready done them for us. The victory is ours if we just believe it, and walk in it. He will finish the work He has begun in us. We are Abraham's seed. And the promise of Life was made to Abraham and his seed; and the Lord always keeps His promises. His word will not return unto Him void. He will do what He has promised. Let us lay hold of the promise by faith today and Now and live. Let us go boldly to the throne of grace and claim our inheritance today and Now. It is the will of God It is His inheritance in us as well. Amen

BE STILL: Be still and know that I am God, saith the Lord. He is the captain of our ship. He is the light of our house. He is the very breath that we breathe. Be still and know that I am God. Let all the earth be still before Him. Stop and think about that. He is the way, the truth, and the light. He is our life. He came to give us life: that means we never had it before. He is Lord, and He is dwelling in me, by His Holy Spirt. "To be like God, is to be still and let God do His work in us, through us, and as us." Be aware of His presence at all times. He will never leave us nor forsake us. He is there all the time. Be still and know that I am God, saith the Lord.

HIS WILL: I came to do thy will Oh! Father. Thy will is to love and to serve. That is the mind of Christ. He came to serve not to be served. He never uses force. You can either join yourself to Him or walk away. The choice is yours. If you are not willing to lay your life down then forget it. He gave up all that He was with the Father before - to be what He is now in His body. Without any praise or Thanksgiving for it. IT WAS ENOUGH just to know He was pleasing the Father. Is that enough for you? Or do you expect some recognition or praise and thanks for it? If you do then forget it. For His way is one of suffering. Being misunderstood, rejected, and despised on every turn. But if we suffer with Him we shall also reign with Him. So it is all a part of the process. Until every knee shall bow and confess that He is Lord - to the glory of God the Father. The whole earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord - as the waters cover the sea. Let us keep our eyes upon the goal. THE BIG PICTURE. It will be worth it all. The sufferings cannot be compared to the glory - that shall be revealed in us. His glory is His presence, His nature being manifested in His people, His many membered body.Remember His kingdom is not of this earth. His kingdom is in that in-visible realm. Meaning it is within you. You are not going to see it with these natural eyes. They didn't see it in Jesus and yet the fullness of God dwelt in Him. It takes a revelation from God to see God. He had the spirit of God without measure. We, too, will have His fullness when we begin to reign with Him, and take authority over all our enemies, including death. We are well able in Him to go up and possess the land. Let us go forth in Him. Amen.

AS LAMBS AMONG WOLVES:Luke 10"Go your ways, behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves. Selah! As Lambs among wolves. Here we thought we were being sent to save the world. No, He is calling out a people for His name's sake. Just as He was sent to the lost sheep of the house of Israel; we are sent to the lost sheep of the house of Pentecost. To bring them on into the third experience, the feast of tabernacles. We are not going to change the wolves into lambs. The wolves are there for us to overcome. It has always been that way. God's People Do The Impossible. Image a lamb among wolves. He is not going to last very long unless God undertakes. And that is exactly what He does. Remember Moses and Pharaoh, David and Goliath, Daniel in the lions den, Joseph and on and on. God always puts His chosen ones in these impossible situations so that He can come forth and reveal His glory. Give Him the glory due His name. He has created us for His Good Pleasure. Are you enjoying His good pleasure? He is happy and well pleased with His Son and His Plan. We can be happy because we look at Jesus and He has destroyed the wolves. He has overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. Our Father looks at His Son and He is happy. Because He pleased the Father. We can look at our Father and be happy because we are His children. Rejoice! Because your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. So you see all these things were written for our admonition according to 1 Cor. 10:11 -"Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. " So let us not forget as lambs among wolves we shall overcome through the Word of our testimony and the blood of the Lamb Amen.

THE MIND OF CHRIST: Phil. 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. One way we learn what the Mind of Christ is - is by learning what is not the Mind of Christ. 2 Cor. 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. So we see that not every thought is from the Mind of Christ. Two things stand out in my mind. He said, "I came to do thy will Oh Father; and I can of myself do nothing, I do only what I see my Father do." John 5:19; John 8:28 He made Himself of no reputation. Phil. 2:7 Are we willing to give up our reputation? He humbled Himself. Phil. 2:8 Are we willing to walk humbly before our God? What does the Lord require of thee, but to do justly,and to walk humbly with thy God? Mic. 6:8 Jesus said, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do." Luke 23:24 Can we do that? That is what we will do if we want to be like Jesus. We won't be able to do a wrong thing if we wanted to. We will always do the right thing. Let this Mind be in you. No more blue days for we know that Jesus is Lord, and His Spirit dwells within. Master that thought. We did not chose Him, but He choose us. The kingdom of God is within.And what is the kingdom of God? It is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Master that thought. When we do we will not have time to spend being mad at the world, but we will be walking in the Spirit, Living in the Spirit, talking in the Spirit. For out of our inner most being will flow rivers of living water. John 7:38 The words Jesus spoke were spirit and they were life. John 6:63 Do we want to be like Jesus? Then we must love one another as He has loved us. Seek Him. John 13:34 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all other things that we have need of will be added unto us. Matt. 6:33 Amen

THE CREATIVE PROCESS: The power created in most motor vehicles is generation, or revolutions. How many times you can do it over and over again determines its output of energy. God Himself is increasing His own energy and power by duplicating Himself over and over again in the image of His Son, Jesus Christ. For we read in Rom. 8:29 "For whom He did foreknow, He also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, That He might be the firstborn among many brethren." And in Heb. 2:10 "For it became Him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings." And in Col. 2:19 "And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God." This is the exact purpose of the Spirit working in us. To free us from the bondage of Adamic thinking, and increase the wealth of Christ's nature causing us to be lifted or raised (resurrected) up from the death of the carnal man. This is the reason for our part in the creative process. To make an increase of God in the earth. God has injoined us with Himself, through His Son, Christ, to be co-heirs or joint heirs in Christ. This is our inheritance in Christ, all the fullness of Him being formed in us. This is also His inheritance in us: for we read in Eph. 1:18 "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of HIS inheritance in the saints. You see, He wants to reveal His goodness in us, His righteousness, peace, and joy - just as soon as we can step aside and let Him come forth in us. This is metamorphosis, the mystery of change taking place within us. The old man identity of Adam and all the first birth is removed and the complete formation of Christ occurs, Spirit, Soul, and Body. The Spirit is placing each of us in our spiritual order for the final steps to Christ's appearing in us, as us. (Ref. The Power of Ten) page 19,21,22 Amen
