The More Excellent Ministry (Hebrews 7:1-28) Review The New Order:

A. "Taxis - Tegma" = an arranging or arrangement; a military term denoting a company.
B. "Tassos" = to assign, appoint, determine, ordain.
C. God's ordained a new order. He Who is a God of principle and moves by pattern is changing
our ways and methods into His ways and His methods.
D. God is projecting us into a realm beyond Pentecost, a realm of life and liberty.
E. In this new day He's manifesting an unprecedented display of His nature and power in and through the church that is flowing to all the nations of the world.

This new day and new order is relative to the new creation man God is forming in the earth, a many-membered, corporate body.

A. There is an old man nature. The Greek word is "palaios" antique, old, worn out, spoiled, not recent - contrasted to new man. B. Old order - systems not flowing in the move of God in this new day, favoring traditions over and above the Word of God.
C. Old order - emphasis is upon a man-centered gospel.
D. New Order- emphasis is upon the Lord and His power to change us into His image.

This priesthood (Melchizedek) is not dead doctrine - not something Jesus does apart from us in heaven. This priesthood has its roots in sonship. Hebrews 5:5-6,8-10 Hebrews 7:28. The divine life of the Son makes this priesthood have power and enables us to come into it.

A. This priesthood ministry has its source of power in endless, indestructible, permanent life. Hebrews 7:16
B. It's the ministry of prophet, priest, king.
C. Colossians 1:27 Paul preached mystery - Christ in you - Anointed One in you.
D. 1 John 2:20, 27. Christ specifically refers to the unction, Holy Ghost, Spirit of the Son in you, the Anointing of God in the believer. This term also linked to a kingdom principle.

A. Romans 14:17 - Kingdom is righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost.
B. Holy Spirit is in us, therefore, the kingdom is in us.
C. Present Reality - Christ, the Anointing, is in you - the kingdoms in you.

Three kinds of people anointed in Scripture: A. Prophets - 1 Kings 19:16 Elisha. B. Priests - Exodus 40:13-15 - Aaron. C. Kings - 1 Samuel 16:13 David. There's an Anointed One in you Who is prophet, priest and king. This creative process is working in us:

A. Prophet - represents God to man = righteousness.
B. Priest - Brings men unto God - peace.
C. King- Authority.

Antichrist Nature
A. Produces b kingdom of self. •
B. False prophet, priest, king. God is producing sons who'll be priests unto God.

Exodus 19:5-6 - God's Purpose
A. This must be fulfilled.
B. We are a people with a purpose (It couldn't be Levites; work, nation priesthood).
C. Why? because all the earth is Mine. God loves the world. He wants to save it, not destroy it.

God's not mad at anybody (you). D. He's ever unfolding and progressively moving towards His goal.

Job cried for a daysman (9:33) a mediator to take hold of God and man. A. That's what a priest is a mediator, a reconciler-, a peacemaker.
B. Isn't Jesus the mediator? He did it ALL (John 3:16).
C. Yes, but He's many-membered, not singular.
D. Come with Me - Look - 2fold expectation. Titus 2:13 (Read Interlinear)
Hebrews 9:28 (Amplified) Acts 13:47; 1 John 3:1-3

Now - because all the earth is Mine - you shall be a kingdom of priests.
Hebrews 3:1

A. Partaker = participant, a sharer, belonging to. *
B. Apostle = an initiator of something new, 1st advocate.
Heavenly Calling = Holy Calling - Hebrews 4:14; Hebrews 8:1-2.

A. This calling is unto priesthood.
B. In heavenly places - beyond veil.
C. " High priest - chief in order and rank.
D. We are the mediators of a more excellent ministry.

We must become like Him. We say Give us power - Power is inherent in the nature. You can't find certain qualities in His nature (i.e. unforgiveness, and hate).

As day draws near: A. There is an appearing taking place - 2 Peter 1:19.
B. 1 Peter 2:9 says we are a people called out of darkness into light. Daystar is rising.
C. Ignorance = darkness.
D. Light = truth.
E. Note: Holy City - Revelation 21:2, 9. F. Revelation 21:21
1. transparent. 2. Day dawn - dia fino - thru shine. 3. A people with a walk where He shines thru.

Hebrews 8:1-6 - We are being brought into the more excellent ministry.
