The Spirit
reveals God to the believer but He
is hidden from the world in general. Yet, He intends to reveal Himself.
"In His 'times He will show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the
King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who alone has immortality, dwelling in
the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man has seen, nor can
see: to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen." 1Timothy 6:15-16
God has hidden Himself and we are called to reveal Him. It is God's intention
to fully reveal the truth of His reign and His existence so that all may
see it. He is doing that through us. Everything in the heavens and earth
came into existence solely from the truth of His being even though His presence
may not be evident. Everything that exists is an expression of His truth.
"For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, Whether they be thrones, or dominions, or
principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him:
And He is before all things, and by Him all things continue to exist." Colossians
1:16-17
The worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things that
are seen were not made of things that existed. The ultimate intent of the
creation of something out of nothing, is for the something to be subjugated
to Him. God intended that the creation be subject to Christ, and Christ
is both Lord and Savior.
"All things were made by Him; and without Him was
not any thing made that was made." John 1:3
God's intention for the creation
is that He possesses a dwelling place in the worlds. We are engaged in the
process of God that makes us capable of becoming a vessel and a dwelling
through which God's light shines forth on earth. We are in a process of
transformation that is enabling God to be all in all.
"For whosoever will
save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake
and the gospel's, the same shall save it." Mark 8:35 "Then comes the end,
when He delivers the kingdom to God the Father, when He puts an end to
all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign till He has put
all enemies under His feet. The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.
For He has put all things under His feet, But when He says all things are
put under Him, it is evident that He who put all things under Him is accepted.
Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son (the body of Christ)
Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God
may be all in all."
1 Corinthians 15:24-28
Psalm 135:6 states: "Whatever
God desired, He did." The creation and existence stems from His desire and
will. It is His will and desire that all creation come to an awareness of
loss of individual existence in Him; so that all in all. It is also written:
Psalm 33:6-9, "By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, and all the
host of them by the breath of His mouth. He gathers the waters of the sea
together as a heap; He lays up the deep in storehouses. Let all the earth
fear the LORD; Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
For He spoke, and it was done."
There is an individuality that God has granted
us that He intends to preserve even as we experience our complete dependence
on Him. The measure of every being and what it would be according to God's
desire is determined through wisdom, God is revealing within us His will
and desire. We perceive His desire and will as the life that works in the
world, generally we understand it as the power of God. We cannot have
a right conception of God unless we think of Him as all-powerful. He can
do what He wills and can perform all His good pleasure.
The power of God
is that ability whereby He can bring to pass whatever He pleases, whatever
His wisdom may direct. Power belongs unto God, and to Him alone. There is
no power but God. God's power is like Himself, self-existent, self-sustained.
Our identity is being formed from the experience of His divine nature. No
creature has the power to preserve itself. Nevertheless, He upholds all
things by the word of His power.
Hebrews 1:3 "Now unto Him that is able
to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to
the power that works in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus
throughout all ages, world without end. Amen"
Ephesians 3:20,21 "For God,
who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts,
to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus
Christ."
2 Corinthians 4:6
God's will
never changes I can see that His will for our lives is His eternal choice."
He is in one mind, and who
can turn Him? And what His soul desires, even that He does. For He performs
the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with Him."
Job 23:13-14 I can see and experience that in Him we live and move and
have our being. He has given us the desires of our hearts.
