INTRODUCTION: Greetings and Blessings from Christ our Glory. Welcome to
the spiritual study
contained in the following pages.
I know that a determined, thoughtful usage of this book of notes with the
scriptural references will result in many powerful experiences of Christ's
presence within you. Each chapter will join together as elements of spiritual
substance in a divine apothecary, offering a true spiritual drink of living
waters flowing from deep within His Most Holy Place, for those who are seeking
to express the FULL glorious nature of Christ Jesus the Lord.
It is a message of the Spirit, the voice of the Word of God.
AGE AND ORDER OF CHANGE:
I Corinthians 15:51, "BEHOLD, I SHEW YOU A MYSTERY; WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP,
BUT WE SHALL BE CHANGED."
I would like to use this introductory
scripture to
lay the background that will enable us
to fully benefit from the truth revealed to us in the Book of Psalms A breach
of this order and system of things is going to occur by the WORD and Spirit of
the Living God.
I Corinthians 15:22, "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be
made alive."
The CHANGE: (Metamorphosis) from this dying state of Adam, to the life giving
power of Christ is to be manifested through HIS people called out to put on
CHRIST by faith. Through deep, intimate and personal union with the Holy Spirit
a transformation (metamorphosis) is and shall be taking place.
In Peter 1:16, "For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we
made
known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye
witnesses of his majesty."
This change is described as a
TRANS-FIGURATION or
metamorphosis and is written and revealed in Christ. In the account found in
Matthew 17, it records how Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John
and brought
them UP a high mountain apart from the others. There he transfigured or changed
the nature of His own bodily expression and was radiant as light.
This experience in history (His story) also contains the spiritual message of
God's
plan for us today. The Holy Spirit is taking many who enjoy a unique
relationship
with Christ into a high spiritual dimension apart from the common, traditional,
and
superstitious views. In this place of mystical union we also shall be changed
to bear
upon ourselves the divine image of Christ the Lord in completeness, fullness
and
totality.
I Corinthians 15:49, "And as we have born the image of the earthy, we shall
also bear
the image of the heavenly.
II Peter 1:3-4, "According to his divine power hath given unto us all things
that
pertain unto LIFE, through the knowledge of him. (4) that by these ye might be
partakers
of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world
through lust."
This was the focus of all true teaching, to instruct a people to experience
the power of
this transformation in their lives now.
Romans 13:11-14, "And that, knowing the time it is high time to awake out
of sleep: the
night is far spent, the day is at hand: put on the amour of light But put ye
on the
Lord Jesus Christ, make no provision for the flesh."
II Corinthians 3:18, "But we all, with open face beholding as in a
glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to
glory,
even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
The Greek word used for change is "metamorphoo" which denotes the entire
process of
realizing the full state of Christ Himself (Ephesians 4:13). Sometimes
as we hear
and read of such
phenomenal power it may seem far away or beyond our grasp. Nevertheless the
word of the
Spirit will show us how practical and viable experiencing this mystery is.
MENTAL MAGIC
Romans 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed
(metamorphoo) by the renewing of your mind."
Notice how the process of metamorphosis is accomplished in the dimension of
the mind.
The renewal of the mind is of primary importance in the transformation from
death to life.
Romans 8:6, "For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually
minded is
life and peace." As each one comes to this place of maturity and perfection the
work of
Spirit is to create a new language of understanding in the mind. The living
voices of God's
Words restore, cleanse, and establish a re-newed sense of purpose and identity
according to the truth. (Colossians 3:10)
In the revelation of Jesus Christ, this deep and mysterious work of mind
renewal
is described by the symbols of a spiritual nature.
Revelation 7:2, "And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the
seal of the Living God..."
This ministry the new day is upon the earth with the Gospel that declares and
reveals the
true nature of God, delivering the people from superstition, legend, and
folklore.
Revelation 7:3, "Saying, hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the
trees, till
we have sealed the servants of God in their foreheads." Revelation 14:1,
"having his
Father's name written in their foreheads…"
These few verses are a divine language describing the sacred experience of
mind renewal.
The only instrument that can truly restore the fresh sense of life to the mind
is the
power of God's WORD. Nothing else can deliver the mind out of its state of
death
into life but the Living Word.
Many mistake positive thinking the act of replacing all negative thoughts with
positive
ones as being the way of mind renewal yet this is incorrect. Both dimensions
of good
and evil are only the opposite ends of the same death. The mind is always
capable of
thinking in the terms of good or evil. What it is not capable of is thinking
beyond
its carnal nature and sense of self, to contemplate its true self in spiritual
terms
according to the image of its creator. Through the power of the Gospel, the
mind
can be freed to think and experience the image and likeness of Christ Jesus,
the last
Adam.
WE SHALL NOT ALL SLEEP. The term sleep is a spiritual way of
describing
the death state.
Psalm 13:3, "Consider and hear me, O Lord my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I
sleep the
sleep of death;"
John 11:11-14, "These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, our
friend
Lazarus sleepeth, but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. (13) Howbeit
Jesus
spake of his death; but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in
sleep.
(14) Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is DEAD."
This death
state is upon
the entire creation, for in Adam all die. But we shall not all sleep or remain
in a
state of dying unto death. We shall be CHANGED, (a spiritual
phenomena).
