Knowledge, or knowing, denotes something beyond the collection of facts and information. It is written "...unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God." This knowledge is an intimate acquaintance of God himself in your soul. It is a knowingness or wisdom to perceive into the radiant presence of Christ within you. In the Genesis account of Adam and Eve, it is written, "and Adam knew his wife: and she conceived..." this symbolizes how spiritual knowledge is the fruit of a deep and intimate joining. It is a union which symbolizes The image of Christ and the church, God and man, heaven and earth, male and female, spirit and soul: is the desire of the holy spirit to bring about that deep knowing of ourselves in Christ and to have a clear and perfect understanding of every purpose of the father's kingdom. Knowing is a function of the mind or soul that links us with the divine nature through levels of understanding. When your understanding is en-lightened you begin to see in a way that your natural eyes cannot.

Ephesians 1:17,18 ... expresses revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is The hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints. As our ability to discern is increased then our knowingness will also be enlarged. It is written:

Colossians 1:10 "... And increasing in the knowledge (knowing) of God:

Proverbs 24:4 ...and by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches."

For this reason the renewing of the mind represents the most important aspect of God's plan being ministered and worked into us. The seal of the living God or seal of life is being accomplished according to the word of Revelation 7:2-3, in the forehead or realm of mind. Revelation 14:1. The renewing of the mind is a spiritual process that is not at all related to positive thinking. We are not attempting to bring positive thoughts over negative ones. Mind renewal is trans-formation. The life that we know as ourselves (personal consciousness) is realized in the mind. Therefore as we begin to know the mysteries of the kingdom, the knowledge or Gnosis is absorbed as our own life. Christ emerges and transformation occurs.

Romans 12:2 ... but be ye trans-formed (metamorphoo) by the renewing Of your mind.

Transformation or meta-morphosis is directly associated with the event of Christ's appearing in us. Metamorphosis connects us with the account of Christ's transfiguration found in Matt.17:1-3. A special mention is made of the time as being after six days so that the seventh day is implied in the passage. Jesus took Peter, James, and John up into a high mountain apart. A mountain can be a figure symbolizing a high realm of the spirit...climbing up and away from the earth or ground level. In this high place Jesus was trans-formed, figured...he changed his external expression through the internal quality of his nature. St.Peter states in his Epistle that this change they witnessed represented the power of Return of Christ or his appearing.

2Peter 1:16 St. Paul revealed metamorphosis (trans/figure) as the spiritual process of transformation in his epistle 2Corinthians. 2Corinthians 3:18 but we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the spirit of the Lord. CHANGED = Meta/morphoo - Trans/figure, Trans/formation.

1Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. 1Thessalonians 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints.

The privilege of being brought into the family of God cannot be overstated. It is the unique blessing of the Holy Spirit to be able to reflect upon God's Word with understanding, going beyond the surface interpretation into the inner or hidden meaning and hear the powerful and penetrating words of Christ's voice today...

Spiritual knowledge is like having an OWL'S edge. The owl is a bird normally perched on a branch of a tree. It has often been associated for symbolizing Wisdom. The wise old kn/OWL/edge. The Holy Spirit wants to give us the OWL'S EDGE: (the owl has NIGHT VISION, it can see through the darkness) that special kn/owl/edge that enables us to see through the present darkness and into the true nature of things... to experience the uncommon or hidden dimensions of the realm of Spirit. ONE further thing: THE ASTONISHING KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST and the understanding of this book came by revelation of the Holy Spirit.
