GIVING EVIDENCE TO
JESUS: ''...and judgment was given unto them; and I saw the souls of them
that
were beheaded for the witness of Jesus..."
Rev. 20:4
There is a beheading of souls taking place for the witness of Jesus. The
word witness (Greek-"marturia") is translated in other places
as testimony, which means evidence given bearing witness, one who gives
evidence.
These people were giving evidence to Jesus, the Saviour. Our English word
martyr means one who lays his life down for another. There can be no
testimony
to Jesus if you're still selfish. But the evidence of Jesus is in those
who
lay their lives down for others. He's not talking about physical death.
Martyrdom in that dimension would not serve the purpose of God, which is
being revealed in this hour.
The purpose being revealed is that which
shall
be accomplished through living martyrs, through a people who have laid
down
their own life on the earth so that Christ can find expression through
them.
This involves the collecting of one's faculties, the recovery of
spiritual
truth; of all that was lost when we took upon ourselves the form of
flesh.
As we grew in the realm of flesh we became more enmeshed into the outer
world experience until all memory of that which we had from before the
foundation
of the world was lost and forgotten.
But there's an awakening that takes place at the time God allows the Holy
Spirit to brood upon the formless void of your earth and says, "Let there
be light." You are reborn into the beginning of the knowledge you once
had from before the foundation of the world. It starts by just knowing
Jesus,
the One who walked the shores of the earth two thousand years ago. That's
your first remembrance. You fall in love with this man who went about all
Galilee doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil.
This is your beginning entrance into the knowledge, but it's so low on
the
spectrum of where God wants to bring you because it is only as we see Him
now, not as He was then, that we start to became like Him. And if we're
going to see Him as He is now, we have to see Him as He is within us
because that is where He is now; he is inside us in the realm of spirit.
Heads Cut Off:
Rev. 20:4... "And I saw the souls of them that were
beheaded..."The
souls were beheaded. This is taking place in two dimensions, outward and
inward. It represents being separated from those things, which have been
in your head or have ruled you.
"Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth
nothing
from the servant though he be lord of all...
but is under tutors and governors in the time appointed of the father.
Even so we, when we were children were in bondage under the elements of
the world. " Gal. 4:1-3
In order for us to enter our inheritance of life God is bringing us out
from the ideas of men and traditions, which have made the word of God of
no effect in our lives. This outward beheading began when we became tired
of the religious programs of men. We were and still are being delivered
from the bondage of religious legalism.
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free
and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage." Gal. 5:1
Processed By The Word.
There's also an internal beheading taking place. The inward beheading is
for the Word of God. The soul, which formerly has been ruled and
dominated
by the realm of appearance, is being beheaded, separated from it, and
being
given a new head, the spirit. The soul (mind, will, and emotions) is
learning
to judge and reason by the inward realm. This is being accomplished
through
the Word of God.
You have been sealed unto the day of redemption. The day of redemption
is the day of resurrection, the day of loosing. The seal is being
loosed.
Unfolding out of you is this entire spiritual realm.
"And when he had opened the fifth seal, I say under the altar the
souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the
testimony
which they held." Rev. 6:9
The souls were under the place of sacrifice. God, in your Christian
journey
in the Spirit, brings you to various altars where you offer up a little
more of yourself to Him in the one true altar of Christ. The Word of
God
brings a death process, a beheading process to your judgment (which has
been based upon flesh) and teaches you to judge by spirit. Finally,
your
entire mind, will and emotions are under the realm and place of
sacrifice,
willing to be poured out.
The Bible can be a dead book to those who read it only by the letter,
although there is certainly knowledge to be gained by the letter. First
you gain the letter, and then you go into definition. Once you've
gained the
letter and understand the definition of various words, the Spirit will
bring you the revelation, the inner language, book within the Book.
This
will put you in contact with the realm of spirit. Then and only then,
can you find the performance of the new covenant, for the performance
of the new covenant shall not be dependent upon the flesh. It is going
to be dependent upon the Spirit.
The Spirit wants to mingle itself,
co-habit
this soul realm, conceive the mind of the kingdom and project it
outwardly
into your outer world experiences. There's going to be a beheading,
this
processing by the Word of God, but you can't get processed by the Word
of God unless you start reading the Word of God.
"And than from a child, thou has known the holy scriptures, which
are
able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ
Jesus. All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable
for doctrine (teaching), for reproof, for correction, for instruction
in righteousness." (1Tim. 3:15-16)
Flakey, intuitive people want to do everything by the Spirit and never
want anyone to correct them with the Word. You have been sealed unto
the day of redemption. The day of redemption is the day of
resurrection,
the day of loosing. The seal is being loosed. Unfolding out to
you is
this entire spiritual realm.
Rev.6:9 "And when he had
opened the fifth seal,
I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the
word
of God, and for the testimony for which they held."
