Some years ago I had a
vision. In this vision I was a woman with hair in two braids parted down the
middle. I stood before a door. The door itself looked as though it was reaching
the skies it was so big and thick. It was of very dark mahogany-like wood. It
was very smooth surfaced but there was no knob, meaning no visible way of
entrance. I stood there and I was banging on it with both fists trying to get
on the inside. It was dark all around where I stood. I finally got tired and
frustrated with knocking and turned to walk away. But as I turned, I heard the
Holy Spirit say, "wait." As I turned back toward the knob-less door, I saw it
swing open inwardly. Within was a large place and what came out from it was a
flood of light. Inside there was a single window with sheer, white curtains on
it. The window was wide open and the curtains blew gently in the wind.
Interpretation: I know I represented the church as she has been these last
2,000 years, standing banging on the door. She's been bound (the braided hair)
and that mostly to former glory and traditions of man. The part down the middle
of the hair represents being double-minded which is unstable in all it's ways.
It is this struggle of wanting to be like the world and like God at the same
time. She's lacked wisdom because she's not sought it from the true source
which is God. James 1:5-8 This has caused her frustration. James 4:
2-3
further says "...Ye have not, because you ask not . vs. 3 Ye ask and receive
not,
because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." The door
represents the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven. But it also represents the
one who is the door Himself; the Lord Jesus Christ. No man comes to the Father
but by Him. (John 14:6, John 10:1-14, Mat. 16:13-19) Only through Him do
we
receive the keys or the mysteries.
(I Cor. 2:6-13, 15:50-57, Eph. 1:3-11, 3:1-12, 5:25-32, Col. 1:26-27, Rom.
11:17-28)
David spoke of a large place and such is the kingdom of heaven. (Ps. 18:
17-50, 31:1-8, Ps. 118:4-21) The door swung open inwardly even as the
kingdom of
God is within us. Luke 17:20-21 Faith, and only faith is what opened the
door.
Specifically it is having Faith in God as Jesus directed us. Mark 11:20-24
This is what always has and always will take to unfold the mysteries and walk
through
Jesus, the door of the sheep. The flood of light is the very presence of God as
understanding is birthed within the heart of a believer. For "every good and
every perfect gift is from above and cometh down from the Father of lights,
with
whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning." James 1:17 The eyes
are
said to be the windows of the soul and the eyes of our understanding are being
enlightened. Eph.1:17-23
Then we can know what is the hope of His calling and what the riches of the
glory of His inheritance in the saints are. This will cause us to have
"singleness of eye" i.e. the one window, with the wind, the Holy Ghost, blowing
through it. We are to be of one heart, one mind and one accord. (Phil.
3:14-17, Rom. 12:10-21, I Cor. 1:10, 2:16) This oneness is in attitude and
attributes.
It is one vision through the mind of Christ. Then the body of Christ will be
full of light. (Mat.6:19-22, Luke 11:33-36) The wind of the Holy Spirit
blowing
was ever so gentle; just a constant breeze. So is a person's life when they
allow the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus to govern them. Rom. 8:1-16 And
not
just in one person but all the members of the body of Christ. The vision of the
woman and the door Read the example of Jehoshaphat in II Chron. 20:1-30
. He
was a man in leadership being led by the Lord.
When king Jehoshaphat of Judah was told a great multitude was coming against
him to battle, he feared and set himself to seek the Lord. He proclaimed a
fast throughout all Judah. All the cities of Judah gathered to ask help of
the Lord. And the man of God, king Jjehoshaphat prayed and brought God to
remembrance of the magnitude of God's mercies concerning the house of the Lord.
This prayer caused the Spirit of the Lord to come upon Jahaziel , a levite, of
the sons of Asaph. The Lord gave directions for them to go and do battle by
specific details; even where to find their enemies. They were to get in place
and stand still and see the salvation of the Lord with them. God would do
battle for them. And when Jehoshaphat bowed his head, with his face to the
ground, he caused all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to worship the
Lord. The levites stood and praised the Lord.
All things for the success in any battle were present. The man of God, the
king, with prayer, fasting, and worship gathered their nations to focus upon
God as their help. He wrought the victory. All they had to do was gather the
spoils. And God caused the fear of the Lord to be upon all the kingdoms of
those countries, and brought rest to the realm of king Jehoshaphat. So shall
it be for the body of Christ, as we allow the Christ that is in us to be the
hope of glory that He surely is. To truly be governed by the law of the Spirit
of life in Christ Jesus. This is our challenge to be brought into. That door
also represented our own hearts. We are in such an hour where we must hear His
voice, that of the Holy Spirit, (Ps. 29:3-9, Rev. 2:7, 11, 17,29 etc.)
and
strive consistently not to harden our hearts.
We need to pray the prayers asking God to break up the fallow ground and agree
to let the meditations of our hearts and the words that come out of our mouths
be acceptable to Him. For we know out of the abundance of the heart the mouth
speaks. And allow Him the position to weigh us in His just balances of His
words. (Jer.4: 1-4, Hos.10: 12, Ps.19: 12-14, Job.31: 4-6, Pro.16: 9-11,
21-23) We must let this mind be in us that is also in Christ Jesus. A heart
and mind of humility and total surrender to the processes of God which will
allow the free flow of the Holy Spirit to express Himself in and through our
souls. I had to receive this vision first as an individual before I've been
allowed to teach it as a corporate call. It is all about being His expression
in the earth. Nothing else matters. And we must constantly respond to the call.
